A connection between worlds happened at our very first Pulque fest earlier this month!
It was a curious fusion of deeply rooted Central Mexican Traditions manifesting in the Caribbean at our modern-retro hotel.

KAP as Kundalini
An ancient practice which combines breath, sound and movement, Kundalini yoga derives from the Sanskrit word: Kundal, which translates to the term “coiled energy.”
Tatemado Rib-Eye
The second in the series was the Rib-Eye Aguachile. Once again, Roberto blew us away with a unique platter of smoky Rib Eye slices, charred sweet potato and his signature home-made salsas with tostadas for dipping.
Our newest regular: FINO
Visiting us here at the hotel on two Mondays per month, FINO is a project created by artisanal experts of hospitality: Gonzalo Cerrato and Simone Mellone.
Brizo
Oh Brizo! An emotive and moving piece by local theater master: Santi Boyero, pioneer of local theater group: Bestiario. The first official screening of their movie, BRIZO, was something spectacular.
Vernissage Boes Ann
During our second vernissage series, we were blessed throughout February to have the striking works of Anna Bonet exhibited at the hotel.

Full Moon Gathering
We’re excited to present daily yoga at Distrito! Our resident yoga teacher Marianna, will lead a 90 minute yoga session every day at 8.30pm in the ocean front shala.
Scarpetta X Panamera
We shared the love with a fresh take on Italian dining with a weekend with spent our loved ones – Family style. Our Dolce Vita weekender was a hit and our friends from the Scarpetta team flew in especially from New York to teach our chefs their expertise in Italian dining.
TOH Circle Immersion
A guided self massage session originating from ancient Mayan tradition, using sacred clay and honey to purify the body and wash away negativity.
Paella
Our Paella party was a hit! Groups of friends, family and loved ones gathered to dive into platefuls of the traditional Spanish dish all day long.
Full Moon X The RoOf
Introducing: Full Moon fun at the ‘RoOf.’
Our latest resident at the RoOf: the moon. You joined us upstairs for magic (literally), music, mixology and delicious food from our special Kane X Distrito menu.
RoOf Opening
What a weekend! Distrito just levelled up. Our newest space to eat drink and play is officially open! ‘The RoOf’ sunset bar was well and truly warmed with dancing feet, a brand new menu by Kane Williams-Sorells, a live DJ set by RoMo and art Exposé by Mario Botta.
Get Golden – NYE
We got golden this New Years Eve with a night to remember at the Distrito Roof. Panoramic views across the mayan jungle and Caribbean sea set the mood for a truly special sunset followed by celebrations all the way through into 2022.
The Christmas Dinner
Merry Christmas from Hotel Panamera! – We spent ours on the sand at the beachfront restaurant with plenty of life, laughter and long conversation: a truly special festive occasion with a tropical twist.

For the Month of December, we proudly presented our first ever art installation: UNIVERSUM. Distrito made a collaboration with our friend and internationally recognized photographer, Mario Botta from Napoli.
RoOf x Kane William Sorrells
Kane William Sorrells' ethos around food is that it should be made with respect to its source; his dishes celebrate nature and the experience we have in that moment. He takes pride in the natural beauty of each ingredient and makes an effort to share his conscious-eating style with those who take the time to enjoy his food.
Anniversary
We turned 1 year old! You celebrated our anniversary at Distrito Panamera with us. We hosted 3 days of festivities from Friday until Sunday with a “Fun in the Sun” weekend to remember.
Día de los Muertos, Distrito style.
Guests came to experience Mexican tradition with us, over a weekend of celebration, honoring the dead. All weekend long, we served bespoke culinary dishes, colorful drinks and decoration for the famous Día de los Muertos holiday.
