We shared the love with a fresh take on Italian dining with a weekend with spent our loved ones – Family style. Our Dolce Vita weekender was a hit and our friends from the Scarpetta team flew in especially from New York to teach our chefs their expertise in Italian dining. Experts in hospitality, with 25 restaurants across the globe we were thrilled to host a fusion experience hosted by Distrito and Scarpetta.
Our top quality teams joined forces for a complete takeover of our dining spaces, working hard together, preparing all afternoon. The result was a feast made with the heart and soul in mind, to be enjoyed by all at Distritio.
We were blessed with two beautiful sunsets at the RoOf bar, complemented by fresh tasting small plates and four of Scarpetta’s signature cocktails. Once drinks had been sipped and aperitivos devoured, we got cosy downstairs with a candle lit dinner experience. Each plate was explained beautifully by the Scarpetta team, some being sharing boards to add to the family ambience. The food was accompanied by Whispering Angel and Ruinart, keeping the table quenched for the duration of the evening.
Diners then took it to the dance floor, with a series of our favourite DJ’s mixing live. Resident DJ, Off Silence closed the night in style with his funky disco sounds: the perfect vibe for la dolce vita. Go for the Scarpetta X Panamera playlist and relive the magic wherever, whenever.
On Sunday it was all about Dolce Vita daytime: we enjoyed the Beach club, crystal ocean water and poolside loungers all day long, whilst serving a series of a la carte brunch plates. The house-made pasta was so popular that we had requests all day long, begging for just one more mouthful!
Already excited for our next event together, the Scarpetta x Panamera combination was a seriously special one. We’d like to give a huge thank you to the whole of the Scarpetta team, Chef Jorge for working closely with us throughout the entire 7-month preparation process and his team Melqui and Juan who attended the event on his behalf. We’d also like to send hugs to our New Yorker family members: John, Jessica, Sara, Megan, Avery and James, who we combined forces with every step of the way.
It was the first and certainly not the last, La Dolce Vita lives on…
