After a catastrophe that wiped out almost all life on earth, a lonely wanderer makes his way along destroyed freeways and through cold ruins in the year 2044. The environment is hostile, marauding gangs could strike anywhere, and a sip of water or a pair of shoes will decide who lives to see the next day among the hunters and the hunted.
