At the beach it also gets cozy

Althoughhh… as rainy as we were expecting it was not… actually became quite the opposite!

Distrito Panamera, already known for its fantastic cocktails just got better especially now since Diego has taken over the bars under his skillful wings. The drinks just taste even more delicious! On Saturday he invited the cocktail magician - Edgar Lara - to join him at his side shaking cocktails.

The Mixologist is from Veracruz and started his career at Admiral Pech Bar, Playa del Carmen. He was trained in Visual Arts, Mayan Herbalism and Traditional Medicine. Later on gaining his experience in the mixology industry in places like Dubai, Paris, and Mexico City. Now-a-days he lives in Oaxaca, MX developing a variety of personal projects.

Throughout the day, he wowed us with 3 of his signatures cocktails… The “One in a Melon”, the “Beach Bunny” and the “Verde Maguey” all of them made with mezcal and his special personal touch.

On Sunday, we celebrated all the kick-ass dads!

In honor of this occasion, we invited all dads to spend a chilled out Father’s Day at Distrito Panamera, with an added bonus of offering two beers for the price of one. We’d like to say thank you to all the dads out there from everyone at the Distrito!

It was an unexpected sunny weekend, filled with good vibes, celebration, groovy sunglasses that matched our drinks, and a much needed end-of-week dancing, even if it wasn’t in the rain :p
