Next month Distrito’s Mixology will be “on tour” visiting some of our favorite places. Starting with Arca, Diego, our bar magician, will showcase some of our new bar cocktails, using Mexican bases as the distillates on our menu, and focusing on our roots and culture.

The idea behind his mixology is to share our flavors as a country in well balanced cocktails with a new expression but in a traditional way. Diego’s specialty lies in leveling up regular cocktails and creating new and interesting combinations, with ingredients you never thought could go together or in a cocktail, like the “Pelaná“ in which he uses chile chipotle.

Besides his unique taste, he also uses different and van guarding techniques to present his mixology, one of them being the “Milk wash”, where he adds milk to an acidic base and strains of the resulting curdled milk, leaving a clear and smooth drink. No colors and no harsh flavors.

Different drinks will be presented in each place so you can try them all throughout the tour. Are you joining us?
